Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting is 1st Monday of the Month at 7 PM - Vails Gate Fire Department Station #1, 872 Blooming Grove Turnpike, New Windsor, NY.

Vails Gate Fire Department is holding a 50/50 Cash Raffle. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Drawing will be held on 7/1/12 at Station 1. Winner need not be present. More information, please contact Jeff Caldara at "jcaldara@vailsgatefd.com".

1910 - 2010  Vails Gate Fire Company 100th Anniversary

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Vails Gate Fire District will take place in December 13, 2011, between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the firehouse located at Route 94 (Blooming Grove Turnpike), Vails Gate, New York for the following purpose:

To elect one (1) Fire District Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2016.

All residents of the Vails Gate Fire District, who are duly registered to vote with the Orange County Board of Elections on or before November 21, 2011 shall be entitled to vote at this election.

Anyone interested in running for the 2012 Commissioner Election should contact Laurie for a petition.  All petitions must be returned to her no later that 11/21/11 to have your name place on the ballot.

Any person desiring to have his or her name appear on the ballot for the above office must have filed a petition, signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified electors of the Fire District, with the Secretary of the Fire District, not later than November 21, 2011.
